Born and raised in Antwerp, I had the chance to grow up in an environment shaped by history, craftmanship and a quiet reverence for well-made objects.

The spaces around me were filled with antique bronzes, old wooden boxes, and classic pieces collected over time, objects chosen for their detail, their patina and the stories they carried.

Being surrounded by these materials from an early age shaped my sensitivity to objects, to their weight and presence, and to the way they can hold emotion and memory without saying anything at all. This atmosphere became the foundation for my fascination with form, materials, and the intimate role objects can play in a life.
